Laura E. Logan

Laura is no stranger to tackling large, complicated and impactful projects, making her a perfect fit for the role of Public and Government Affairs manager for ExxonMobil’s Low Carbon Solutions.

Laura has been with ExxonMobil for 22 years. She began her career in the company’s global security department, where she created an integrated threat assessment program post-9/11. There, she leaned on her nine years of prior experience in the Central Intelligence Agency’s Clandestine Services.

From there, she transferred to Public and Government Affairs, where she has had assignments in the public policy and issues management team, communications, global operations (heritage ExxonMobil Development Company and ExxonMobil Production Company) and international government relations. Her most recent roles were public and government affairs manager for the Upstream Conventional global business line and public and government affairs manager for ExxonMobil’s Specialty Products business.

Today at Low Carbon Solutions, Laura says she’s excited “to be part of a new business line that’s moving ExxonMobil – and the world – toward net zero.” At work, Laura wants to apologize to her colleagues for constantly twirling her pen in meetings. It’s a habit she’s had since high school, but it has served her well for years.
