More about Carman
With over 27 years immersed in upstream operations at ExxonMobil, Carman Mullins knows firsthand how the company’s longstanding expertise in the upstream, product development, and chemical solutions serves as a major differentiator for the Low Carbon Solutions business. She is proud of the capabilities we have and our ability to make a difference.
Carman started with Exxon in 1996 as a facilities engineer in New Orleans. Over the next 25 years, she held various technical, supervisory, planning, and executive leadership roles in assignments across the United States, and in Canada and Malaysia.
In January 2021, she was appointed vice president of ExxonMobil Upstream Operations, where she spearheaded the delivery of integrated operational solutions to global business units and projects.
An avid basketball player growing up, Carman had a brief stint coaching her daughter Sydney’s school team. She says if she weren’t an engineer, she’d would have been a full-time basketball coach. She and Sydney are also actively involved with the National Charity League – an organization of mothers and daughters volunteering in their communities.
A native of Yazoo City, Mississippi, Carman graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. She enjoys playing sports and skiing with her husband, Jason, son Henley, and daughter Sydney.
