Kelly L. Galbraith

A native of Austin, Texas, Kelly joined ExxonMobil in 1997 after completing her MBA from Texas A&M University. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of leadership positions in human resources, including talent strategy, talent acquisition, talent management, and total rewards roles. Kelly also served as a director for our Czech Republic operations and as vice president for the U.S. State Department’s Overseas Schooling Committee. Working with the State Department, Kelly supported education services for all U.S. children abroad. She helped spearhead efforts to improve their safety by improving international background check processes, and worked to increase education services for special needs children. Kelly is quick to point out how her experiences align with the Low Carbon Solutions objective: “How often do we get the chance to take on a huge challenge where we can help make the world a better place for our children?”

In addition to spending time with her husband, Patrick, and their four children, Kelly enjoys hiking, travel, yoga, and reading.  A true believer in life long learning, one of her early reads, “The Wall Street Journal Guide to Understanding Personal Finance,” by Kenneth and Virginia Morris, convinced her that everyone should have a strong base in personal finance fundamentals.
